Project Milestone for SolarGlass Commercial Services!
Special Thanks to the CSU School of Business at Rockwell Hall … and our talented window installation team!
We’re proud to announce that our (amazing) Commercial Services team just completed a huge window replacement project at Rockwell Hall on the Colorado State University campus! This is the first multi-hundred thousand dollar commercial replacement project we handled entirely with SolarGlass employees. The original wood double hung windows were replaced with Marvin’s clad double hungs in a custom color to match other work on the building we did last year. With Marvin’s best in class product offering, we were able to match the historic detail and leave the building good as new, but better!
During the seven week project, we replaced one hundred twenty-six windows. Rockwell Hall is used by Colorado State University’s School of Business, and remained open while we completed the work. Our team received many compliments, and were even treated to goodies provided by the School of Business team (special thanks to them)! We are very proud of our work and are honored to have been selected by Colorado State University for this project.
We made the decision to build an in-house installation team early in 2012 and hired Eric as the person to build up our capabilities. Eric, in partnership with Rick, our Director of Commercial services are now able to take on large scale endeavors, with particular competency in historic and multi-family replacement projects.
