2019 Spring Trip to Marvin Windows HQ

It's that time of year again -- we've just returned from our semi-annual trip to Marvin Windows & Doors HQ in Warroad, MN. As always, it was an amazing experience and we had a great trip. This year, we traveled with several local architects (pictured from left to right): Keenan Robles, Oz Architecture Matt Post, Oz Architecture Ari Irfano, Senior Associate, Oz Architecure Jane Faiola, Marvin Architectural Project Manager Gwénaël Hagan, Owner, Signature Windows Josh Rodgers, Pivotal Architecture PC Jennifer Read More...

Marvin Bi-Fold Patio Doors

Our expert installation team recently installed a Marvin Bi-Fold door for a local customer. The project was a perfect example of our "Own the Opening" experience. Our CEO, Gwénaël Hagan, was the sales person involved in the project. He worked with Knepper Construction - a father and son-run business where the father still writes project proposals by hand, a dying breed. Gwénaël worked with the homeowner's designer to size the door to align with the other door frames at the Read More...

Our Annual Trip to Warroad, MN

Every year, SolarGlass invites our customers to join them on a trip to Warroad, MN to see first-hand how the Marvin products are manufactured. We typically take the trip twice a year in March and October, with two-legs on each trip (a Monday-Tuesday group, and a Wednesday-Thursday group). Architects qualify for AIA (American Institute of Architects) credits by taking this trip, knocking out 5 credits towards their requirement to maintain membership. Marvin has three charter planes that fly their visitors Read More...

Softwoods Read More...

Copper is the New Black

Copper is the New Black ... at least when it comes to doors and windows! We are excited to show off Marvin Window's newest product color, copper. Recently, we received our second order for the copper color from a metro Denver area homeowner in Denver's Country Club neighborhood. Not only did we provide the windows and doors for the project, but our Installation Services group handled the install: Speaking of installation services, that side of our business is growing fast, Read More...

Marvin Dealer of Distinction

A couple of weeks ago, our CEO, Gwénaël Hagan, attended an invitation-only Dealer of Distinction event hosted by Marvin Windows & Doors. This was the third such event of its kind, the first one being in 2007 and the second two years later. It was this second event in 2009 that Gwénaël attended as a new dealer who had just made the decision to commit to the Marvin and Integrity by Marvin product lines. The two day event was simply Read More...
