On Tuesday, we were lucky to have Susan Marvin, of Marvin Windows and Doors in our Cherry Creek showroom. It’s not every day that the president of the company of the product we offer is walking around and complimenting how we display the product that her family has been providing for over 66 years. Susan checked out our Lift and Slide door display and we showed her the TruStile line of interior doors we provide, a compliment to any Marvin Home.

One of the big issues that was discussed was how the Marvin windows perform in the higher altitudes we have in Colorado. Low-E Argon gas in the glass in windows and doors can help with energy costs in your home, so it’s important that we can offer it. There are issues with altitude and it was discussed how to ensure that we are not denying the opportunity for any homeowners at appropriate altitudes to have Argon in their windows.

It was really great to have Susan in the Cherry Creek showroom, discussing the family aspect we maintain at SolarGlass that parallels the dynamic at Marvin. When her father was brought up in conversation, Susan commented that “he was a very, very wise man.” The family aspect runs deep and it was easy to see. Gwenael then took Susan around the Denver area introducing her to builders and showing her how the Marvin difference shows in Cherry Creek. We truly enjoyed having her and hope it’s not long before she comes and visits us again!
