Our expert installation team recently installed a Marvin Bi-Fold door for a local customer. The project was a perfect example of our “Own the Opening” experience.
Our CEO, Gwénaël Hagan, was the sales person involved in the project. He worked with Knepper Construction – a father and son-run business where the father still writes project proposals by hand, a dying breed. Gwénaël worked with the homeowner’s designer to size the door to align with the other door frames at the back of the room. The opening is on the west end of the new addition. To the south will be six push out casement windows where the glass and dividers align.
In the photos below, Ben Anastasio and his girlfriend Lauren are pictured completing the final installation. While Lauren applied flashing tape and caulking, Ben put the finishing touches on the head of the bi-fold door system.
Lauren’s help was much needed (and appreciated), and her caulking skills are expert-level! She set a new standard for flashing installation, and we hope the rest of the team can rise to the challenge!
